Released alongside the official rename to GALACTIC WARFARE: DEFENSE FOR PLANET EARTH.

⚔ NEW FEATURES & ADJUSTMENTS

• Common Aliens now use their purple stick as a real melee weapon with a swing animation.
• Stick attacks have a 2–3 s delay between swings (no rapid-fire repeat hits).
• Fire-Lancers now shoot animated 2D fire projectiles — a visible fiery cannon blast.
• The battlefield progress indicator is renamed to Invasion Progress.
• Invasion Progress bar is shortened and centred — no more sudden jumps to the red flag.
• P.E. Generators now show a charge ring before production and spawn a real collectible orb.
• Plasma energy collection animates the orb toward the upper-left collector box.
• Currency (coins/silver/bronze/gold) animates toward its collector box on collection.
• The plasma energy collector no longer generates energy on its own — only collected orbs count.
• After the first 5 following aliens, subsequent following aliens spawn freely at 8–12 s intervals.
• Fire-Lancers and future ranged attackers can target visible enemies anywhere in their range, including the alien zone.

📉 NERFS

• P.E. Generator production interval increased to 15–20 s (was 10–12 s).
• Random plasma energy spawn interval changed to exactly 20 s (was 15–20 s).
• Default Common Rarity card deploy cooldown increased to 10 s (was 7.5 s).
• Common Alien baseline movement speed reduced to 0.80×.
• Fire-Lancer HP reduced from 100 to 75 HP.
• P.E. Generator HP reduced from 100 to 50 HP.

📈 BUFFS

• Common Alien HP increased from 100 to 200 HP.
• Common Alien base stick attack damage set to 20.
• Common Alien damage scales up to +50% as HP decreases (reaching ~30 dmg at critical HP).
• Pinkish red-flag alien movement speed set to 1.30× baseline.
• Fire-Lancer attack range extended to 900 px — covers the full alien zone.

About the Game

GALACTIC WARFARE: DEFENSE FOR PLANET EARTH is a lane-based battlefield defense game. Players deploy military units across five lanes, collect plasma energy to fund deployments, defend the home base against waves of alien invaders, and manage battlefield resources under pressure. Progress through 50 Adventure levels, unlock new units, and repel the full alien invasion.

🗄 PLAYER DATA & DATABASE

Player account and progress information is stored through Google Sheets via a deployed Google Apps Script web-app. Registration creates a row in the GalacticWarfare sheet; login validates credentials against the stored salted hash. No plaintext passwords are ever stored.
